Prof. Boaz Golany served as Technion Executive Vice President and General Director, and Vice President for Resource Development and External Relations.
Golany holds the Samuel Gorney Chair in Engineering and is former dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management. He graduated with a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Technion and a PhD from the School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He has been a faculty member at Technion since 1986.
Golany has served as an associate editor and member of the editorial boards of professional journals in the fields of Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, and Management Science. He has also been an advisor and board member for numerous companies and agencies in Israel and the US. These include government agencies, energy companies, and companies in the financial, manufacturing, and information technology sectors. He has published over 150 articles in scientific journals in the fields of Industrial Engineering, Operations Research and Management Science, and 15 book chapters.
