Ron Kenett is a Research Professor at the University of Turin; Chairman of the Israel Data Science Society at AEAI; and Chairman of the KPA Group. Kenett is actively engaged as a member of the Public Advisory Council for Statistics Israel, the INFORMS QSR advisory board, and the advisory board of the University of Haifa Data Science Research Center(DSRC). Additionally, he is author and coauthor of 18 books and over 300 papers, and member of the review board for numerous esteemed international journals.
He is past President of the Israel Statistical Association (ISA) and of the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (ENBIS). He was awarded the George Box Medal by the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics, the Greenfield Medal by the Royal Statistical Society for outstanding contributions to applied statistics, and the lifetime achievement award by the Israel Society for Quality. In 2026 he was awarded the Deming medal by the American Society for Quality.
The Deming medal is a recognition for unique contributions to applied statistics, quality science and quality management. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College at London University and a PhD in Mathematics from the Weizmann Institute of Science.www.amazon.com/author/rkenett
