In recent years there is a noticeable shortage in the construction and infrastructure engineering manpower. The shortage is felt more in infrastructure and less in the building.
In infrastructure, particularly noticeable shortage of roles in project implementation, which are the most difficult and demanding. Supply side, the number of civil engineering graduates is lower than in years past, despite the fact that in recent years were also a number of colleges to train graduates in civil engineering and structural engineering.
Declared objective of this work is to assess the demand and supply for engineering personnel – engineers, practical engineers – in the infrastructure sector, given expected growth in infrastructure work in the coming years and the fear of growing realization of such a manpower shortage. However, that’s why it was necessary to address the industry similar to the construction of buildings, competing for the same type of personnel.
