This study was solicited for a special panel on Ultra-Orthodox youth, presented at the Caesarea Forum in June 2011.

It includes a review of the U-O society since the establishment of the State of Israel, a description of obstacles in integrating this sector in the labor market and it delineates new paths of possible U-O youth integration in military (and civic) service, higher education and occupation. Three scenarios are offered to predict possible developments in the forthcoming ten years.

Analyzing these scenarios demonstrates the importance of the internal changes occurring within the U-O community and the need to enable these transformations to continue without external sanctioning, but with the help of Governmental new policy.
