Swirl of the indemnity Documents: The Court struck down what it itself created

Rachelle Alterman’s article about the new ruling of the Supreme Court, according to which local authorities are not authorized to require indemnity commitments from real estate development. The article describes the circumstances in which the indemnity documents were created, and the negative impacts of the decision on development initiatives.  She calls for legislation to limit neighboring landowners’ rights to claim compensation from the public budget.
