Yakov Ben-Haim is the creator and developer of info-gap theory, a methodology specifically designed for decision-making and strategic planning in the face of deep uncertainty. Info-gap theory has been successfully applied around the world to address challenges in diverse fields, including engineering, economics, environmental conservation, medicine, and national security. For more detailed information . Ben-Haim has published 6 books and more than 120 articles in scientific journals. He is a professor emeritus at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and held the Yitzhak Moda’i Chair in Technology and Economics for more than two decades. He remains actively engaged in research, advising graduate students, and teaching.
