The project was carried out in collaboration with the Natural Resources and Environment Research Center at the University of Haifa. The study, which is carried out as part of a research grant from the local government – the Lottery and the Local Government Center, examines the factors that hinder the establishment of end-of-life facilities in Israel, and in particular, whether the establishment of end-of-life waste treatment facilities in partnership with the public and private sectors (that “PPP) can contribute to removing the barriers and achieving the policy goals of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
The research was conducted in collaboration with Efrat Elimelech, an environmental consultant and researcher at the Natural Resources and Environment Research Center. PhD student in the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Management.
