This report focuses on the evaluation of the MACH’AR (“Haredi Frameworks”) Program within the academic institutions in Israel.

The program was initiated and conducted by The Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC), at The Council for Higher Education, with the purpose of enhancing Haredi integration into academic studies.

The report includes a detailed mapping of those academic institutions adapted for the inclusion of Haredi students, as well as an analysis of their integration into those institutions during the 2013-14 academic year. The analysis includes various characteristics of both the students and the institutions, as well as the progress of the program since its initiation. The report also contains a list of recommendations derived from the analyzed findings.
