The research is a part of the Israel-Slovenia bilateral project. The research was funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Slovenian Research Agency and took place from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2020, with the participation of the Centre for Social Informatics (CSI) at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and the Samuel Neaman Institute for National Policy Research (SNI).
The project shared both mutual and separate tasks relating to the methodological and practical aspects of data collection from online surveys and the augmentation and triangulation of various types of data. The CSI research group has mainly focused on the methodological aspects of online survey design, developments in the field of paradata collection and in the formulation of composite paradata indices intended for the study of survey data quality, whereas the SNI research group centered on profiling online user behavior via triangulated data, using obtrusive and unobtrusive methods.
