The course will discuss research findings on intellectual property in research and development of stem cells in Israel, conducted in 2009-2012, headed by Prof. Niva Elkin - Koren (Center for Law and Technology, Law Faculty Haifa University) and Dr. Daphne Getz (Samuel Neaman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology Research), funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The Samuel Neaman Institute for national policy, as a part of the energy cluster activity, continues with the series of energy forum discussions, dedicated to issues of national priority. The energy forum holds issue specific discussions, with a limited number of experts in the discussed field. Our goal is to concentrate on relevant and well defined questions, and produce a set of recommendations and action items, presented to the decision makers in the specific field.

Seminar: sustainability and consumption reduction

The discussion in the Madatech museum is conducted in parallel to the planet under pressure convention in London. Cooperation with the ministry of environmental protection, SNI and the Haifa District Municipal Association For The Environment. The discussion is for leadership program students, and aims to enlarge the responsibility circle and include youth in a sustainable lifestyle.
