Recently, the evolution of Big Data technologies, high-speed computing, cloud computing, and Artificial Intelligence techniques (such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning) have transformed the way many engineering and manufacturing professionals approach their work<br \/>\nThese technologies offer innovative ways for engineers and manufacturers to address real-world challenges. However, the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is vast, encompassing diverse theories, algorithms, and methods. This diversity poses significant challenges in selecting the appropriate AI technique for a specific engineering or manufacturing process and its respective environment.<\/p>\n<p>This document is a broad literature review of applications AI in systems engineering and engineering.
