The study, which is carried out as part of a research grant from the local government &#8211; the Lottery and the Local Government Center, examines the factors that hinder the establishment of end-of-life facilities in Israel, and in particular, whether the establishment of end-of-life waste treatment facilities in partnership with the public and private sectors (that &#8220;PPP) can contribute to removing the barriers and achieving the policy goals of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.<\/p>\n<p>The research was conducted in collaboration with Efrat Elimelech, an environmental consultant and researcher at the Natural Resources and Environment Research Center.
