Research reports, such as those recently made at the Samuel Neaman Institute at the Technion, raise questions whether Israel’s growth engine in the past two decades, the Hi-Tech industry, has begun to falter. INDUSTRIALIST DOV LAUTMAN died November 23 following a decade-long battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also called Lou Gehrig’s Disease. He was 77. He is survived by his son, Noam, and three grandchildren.

How will the Israeli gas flow?

The state seeks to promote the establishment of two land-based facilities to absorb the gas, but residents of the selected location for the facilities object due to safety and environmental considerations. It seems that the establishment of a floating rig in the sea may solve the problem.
