Dr. Yael Albo holds a PhD from the Department of Information and Knowledge Management at the University of Haifa. She specializes in the visualization of time-dependent composite measures and has published articles on this topic. Since 2017, she has served as a lecturer in the field of Information Visualization at graduate and undergraduate levels at academic institutions including Technion, Bar-Ilan University, Tel Aviv University, University of Haifa, Rupin College, and Yezreel Valley College. Previously, Albo initiated and developed programming teaching courses for children within the Science and Technology Youth Center at Technion. She was a key member of the development team of the Israel Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Index at the Internet Research Center at the University of Haifa. She has been actively engaged in research within the Neaman Institute, focusing on assessing digital gaps and online user behavior using data surveys and digital traces. Albo’s research interests encompass the development and visualization of composite indicators, investigating digital divides, and evaluating online user behavior.
