About

Guy Rolnik is a Clinical Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He teaches courses on economic policy, media and regulation in Chicago Booth, Tel Aviv University, and Reichman University. An Israeli journalist, executive, and entrepreneur, Rolnik founded Israel’s leading financial newspaper TheMarker, and served as deputy publisher of Haaretz daily newspaper. He is considered Israel’s most influential business and economics journalist, credited with revolutionizing Israeli journalism and media, and bringing dramatic changes to economic and social discourse in Israel. Rolnik is the recipient of the 2013 Sokolov Life Time Achievement Award for founding TheMarker, changing public discourse and influencing the government to make significant changes in the structure of the Israeli economy.
