About

Dr. Guy Kagan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Samuel Neaman Institute, collaborating with Prof. Rachelle Alterman’s research group on the project titled, “Why are the Property Rights of Israel’s Kibbutzim and Cooperative Villages Still Tantamount to Vassals?”. He completed his doctoral studies in the Philosophy Department at the University of Haifaunder the guidance of Prof. Meir Hemmo, where he also completed his MA studies in the Philosophy of Science and Rationality program. His PhD focused on the conceptual foundations of Quantum and Statistical Mechanics, the Philosophy of Probability and Information, the Philosophy of the Mind, and Metaphysics. Over the past decade Guy hasbeen engaged in a range of philosophical topics, including the philosophy of education, political philosophy, and ethics. He serves as a lecturer at Tel-Hai College and supervises student theses in the “Human Path” program. Kagan actively contributes to the conversation on these subjects through his writings on various platforms.
