About

With an extensive career in the high-tech industry, Eliezer Shein acquired a wealth of industrial experience, spanning design, development, manufacturing, and marketing, and specializing in electronics and systems design. His expertise includes digital equipment, RF Systems, microwave communications, data communications, and telecommunications, encompassing computer networking, and VLSI design of systems on chips. In 2013, Shein joined the Samuel Neaman Institute, where he serves as a researcher in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI). His current research endeavors encompass innovation policy, R&D policy, R&D output evaluation, talent development for the pharmaceutical industry, and technology transfer between academia and industry with a focus on innovation in medicine. Shein has pioneered a suite of tools facilitating the analysis of technology start-ups and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
