Dr. Eitan Adres is a Senior Research Fellow at the Samuel Neaman Institute. A former pilot in the Israeli Air Force, he subsequently served as CEO of leading steel companies, spearheading extensive international business initiatives. At present, he is involved in high-tech start-ups, actively promoting entrepreneurship among small and medium-sized enterprises. His comprehensive civil society leadership primarily focuses on education and social mobility. Adres serves on numerous boards of directors and is a member of the Israel Press Council. His research focuses on the implications of globalization on citizen/state relationships, national and social resilience, the interplay between economy and society, and strategic planning. With academic credentials in Mathematics and Economics, Political Science, Public Administration and Policy, Adres currently leads a strategic initiative at the Neaman Institute to define an updated ‘organizing principle’ for Israel’s future. He is also involved in research on the strategic implications of the October 2023 massacre and the subsequent war.
