About

Prof. Dan Peled is an emeritus faculty member in the Department of Economics at the University of Haifa and head of the Economics of National Security (ENS) forum at the Neaman Institute. The ENS research program aims to initiate, encourage, and support academic research on the mutual links between economic conditions and national security. Before joining the University of Haifa, Peled taught at Technion and Carnegie Mellon University. His research encompasses academic inquiry and public policy development in economic growth, research and development economics, and security economics.
