The Colloquium Series of the Samuel Neaman Institute

You are invited to a lecture in the Colloquium Series of the Samuel Neaman Institute. This series is dedicated to exploring the implications of social processes (culture, technology, ethics, geopolitics, and more) on higher education, research, and development.

Speaker: Dr. Alik Pelman

Dr. Alik Pelman, a Technion research fellow and Shenkar lecturer, has spent 13 years living self-sufficiently on a homestead he built in the Western Galilee. His lifestyle, rooted in philosophical and ecological principles, has inspired academic research and his book Sefer Derech. In this talk, he shares insights and surprising findings from his journey toward ethical, self-reliant living.
