Studies: National Environmental Priorities

In recent decades, there has been a turning point in Israel and around the world in everything related to environmental awareness. Global interest in climate change, water scarcity problems and changing energy prices has led governments in developed and developing countries to intensively enact environmental laws. At the same time, giant companies began to develop environmental technologies, investors around the world were looking for environmental technologies, and the public became more aware and involved.

One of the functions of the Shmuel Ne'eman Institute is to bridge the gap between academia, industry and decision-makers by making applicable, up-to-date information and research-based knowledge accessible to state institutions. The documents of national priorities compiled at the Samuel Neaman Institute deal with a variety of issues that are important to raise on the public agenda.
