Orit Hazzan

Prof. Orit Hazzan is a faculty member in the Technion Faculty of Education in Science and Technology. Her research focuses on computer science, software engineering and data science education. A world leader in her field, Hazzan researches cognitive and social processes at individual, team, and organizational levels, in all types of establishments. She has published approximately 120 papers in professional refereed journals and conference proceedings, and seven books. Hazzan has held significant administrative roles, including Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies; Dean of the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology; and Dean of Undergraduate Studies; and chair of the national High School Computer Science Curriculum Committee.
