Dan (Danny) Breznitz is an assistant professor at Georgia Institute of Technology Sam Nunn School of International Affairs and the School of Public Policy. He has extensive experience in conducting comparative in-depth research of Rapid-Innovation-Based Industries and their globalization around the world. Currently he is in the midst of two new multi-year multi-location industry studies research projects looking at the different ways in which innovation translate (or not) into economic growth in the localities where it takes place. Breznitz is also a senior researcher at the Science Technology and Innovation Policy Program of the Enterprise Innovation Institute and a research affiliate of MIT’s industrial Performance Center were he has been involved in both the Globalization and the Local Innovation Systems projects.
